Frequently Asked Questions

Membership:

Membership is free at this time.  Membership is capped and currently is over where we want it to be. I am trying to downsize. If you have not purchased (custom orders don’t count) in 18 months or you have never purchased and/or don't open emails, you will be removed after 6 months.    We will reassess on June 23.   A smaller base of loyal, stress-free customers is the goal.

How do I log in?

For Android Devices:

Is this Zweigart fabric?

Yes.

Is it washable?

Yes.  Strong colors are not guaranteed colorfast, though.

Which one of your fabrics looks like (another company's color)?

I have no idea.  I've never seen their fabric.  You can try asking them which of their fabrics matches mine.

Will you pick out my fabric for me?

Absolutely not!  There are horror stories to go with that!  Please use the floss toss or ColorPlay videos to help you make an informed decision.

Will you hold my order?

Sorry, I can't.

Will you just charge me for (name an item)?

For your own safety, I never see your card number.  I can't even believe that someone texted me their credit card info.  PLEASE DON'T DO THAT for your own sake!

I accidentally ordered twice!  Now what?

I will issue a store credit for you minus fees.  I have already paid credit card fees on your order.

You used to do floss tosses.  Will you do one (or two or ten) for me?  My project only has 98 colors.  And I'll ask again tomorrow!  And then I won't buy anything! (true story)

No.  Lesson learned.  😞  Hopefully the ColorPlay videos or floss toss photos help.

Will you sell me an odd sized piece of fabric?

An 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, or full yard can certainly be requested!  I won't do smaller than a fat quarter normally.  Sometimes I have Sampler Cuts™ that are not listed.  Please ask!

Can I request an old color?

Of course you can, if you are an established customer with a good history!  It is best if I can get a minimum of half a yard so I will try to find someone to order with you.  Sometimes if it is just one quarter, it comes a bit darker.  Just an FYI.

Why didn't you answer my email?

I don't always receive these emails. Please use the Shop chat Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Eastern -- I will definitely receive that.  Any other way has no guarantee of me seeing it.  You can find the info under "Contact" at the bottom of your screen in case you need help figuring it out.  

Do you ship to (country)?

I ship to the United States only at this time.

What country are you in?

The Sunshine State is Florida, USA.  Yes, someone asked.

Can I preorder without paying?

Sorry, no.

Can I request a different count of fabric?

Yes, but only if you are an established customer with a good history!

Can I request unnatural fibers, like rayon?

No, but metallic opalescent fabrics are okay.  I love to make those!

What is a fat quarter (fat half, SamplerCut™?)

A fat quarter of Aida is 18" x 21".  A fat half is 36" x 21".  A SamplerCut™ is 24" x 21".

In linen, a fat quarter is 18" x 27".  A fat half is 27" x 36".  A SamplerCut™ is 19-29" x 27".

" symbolizes inches.

I subscribed and don't get your emails anymore!

If you haven't opened an email in a year AND haven't purchased in several years, you have been unsubscribed.  If you haven't opened an email in a year, you probably don't want them anyway!

I didn't receive the sale email!

If you don't open any emails for a while, you will only receive sporadic offers.  The best sales are for engaged customers.  You don't have to be a big spender -- just open your email!

I have a question that isn't here!
